The Audi R8 is a phenomenal supercar in every respect and has really shown the old players (Ferrari) that German engineering is a great match for Italian passion. Of course being German also means that the R8 is no one trick pony...
Try that with a Ferrari F430.
Even Clarkson likes it....and he's no fan of ze Germans.

maybe this should be my next purchase instead of a Cayman.
Considering the R8 V10 is only about three times more expensive than a Cayman. $150,000, that's like TARP money.
