Read this article about manufacturing diamonds that are indistinguishable from "real" diamonds. Don't get too excited fellas...diamonds won't get cheaper anytime soon but it does have some amazing implications for materials and electrical engineering. Can't wait until I can have a car with a diamond-based clear coat that is absolutely impervious to scratches.
